Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, on medium to high heat.
  2. Add in the tri-colour bell peppers and cherry tomatoes, and lightly toss till soften and slightly charred. Turn off the heat. Set it aside to cool down before using as pizza toppings.
  3. For the dough, start off with 500 grams plain flour in a mixer with the dough hook. Add the yeast and pinch of salt. Set the mixer settings to slow, and let the dry ingredients incorporate together.
  4. Add in olive oil and warm water.  Turn the mixer to medium-high speed, and let the ingredients come together till an elastic dough is formed (about 3 to 5 minutes). Turn off the mixer and remove the hook.
  5. Cover the dough with a clean and slightly damp cloth, and let the dough rest for 40 minutes, allowing it to proof.
  6. Lightly dust the working table/space with flour, and knead the dough for a minute.
  7. Using your hands, shape the dough into a large pizza base. Transfer the dough base and lay it flat onto a baking tray (dusted with flour). Poke the dough lightly with fingers to create dents.
  8. Spread ready-made tomato sauce onto the dough evenly, and put the cooked pepper and cherry tomatoes on top. Oven bake the pizza at 200 degrees Celsius, for 5 minutes.
  9. Blend the peeled sausages using the quick pulse mode, till the sausages are finely chopped.
  10. Next, remove pizza from oven. Place pineapples, chopped and/or sliced Golden Bridge sausage, mozzarella and/or Parmesan cheese on top of pizza.
  11. Put the pizza back into the oven, and continue baking for another 15 to 20 minutes.
  12. Remove from oven. Ready to serve.

Ingredients

For the pizza toppings:

  • 2 Golden Bridge sausage (peel off skin and finely blended to bits)
  • 2 Golden Bridge sausage (peel off skin and sliced to bite size)
  • 300 grams or 2 cups tri-colour bell peppers
  • 300 grams or 2 cups fresh honey pineapple (diced)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 100 gram or 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • 100 gram or 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • A pinch of salt

For the pizza dough:

    • 500 grams or 3 & 1/2 cups plain flour
    • 250ml or 1 cup ready-made tomato sauce
    • 375ml or 1 & 1/2 cup warm water
    • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • A pinch of salt
